Patsy’s Italian Restaurant
“I’ve been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a prophet, a poet, a pawn and a king,” Frank Sinatra famously sang. “I’ve been up and down and over and out and I know one thing, each time I find myself flat on my face, I pick myself up and get back in the race.” The song was “That’s Life,” by Dean Kay and Kelly Gordon. I can identify with the chorus, and I call this drawing “That’s Patsy’s,” in honor of what is known as Sinatra’s favorite Italian restaurant. Rest in Peace. (236 W. 56th St. 212-247-3491.)
