In the summer of 2018, I made two trips to London to draw its booming, pre-Covid, pre-Brexit restaurant scene. From Soho to Brixton and Hammersmith to Whitehall, I crisscrossed the city, sketching queues of diners, shiny new facades, and esteemed establishments.
