A Table in Paris

This one’s for the dreamers, the Francophiles, the lovers of slow meals and timeless cafés. I made two summer trips to Paris in 2019, wandering the arrondissements with my sketchbook in hand. A Table in Paris (ABRAMS, 2021) is the result: more than over 100 restaurants drawn on location, from grand brasseries like Bofinger and Les Deux Magots to intimate gems like Quinsou and Mokonuts.

I wanted to capture the elegance of Paris’s dining scene without losing its soul — the places where writers, artists, and everyday
people go to share a meal and a moment. Throughout the book, you’ll also find reflections and recommendations from people who know the city well — Ruth Reichl, Lindsey Tramuta, Alec Lobrano, Maira Kalman, and others. Whether you're planning a trip or simply dreaming of one, this book is a passport to the flavors and facades of the City of Light.
