A Burgundian named Marthe Allard opened this Saint-Germain bistrot in 1932, and for decades it's been synonymous with excellent, unfussy French cooking. Settle into the tried-and-true, wallpapered dining room and try emblematic dishes such as duck with olives and coq au vin. (Allard, 41 Rue Saint-André des Arts, 75006.)
