This café near the Jardin du Luxembourg has a literary history rivaling the nearby Deux Magots and Café de Flore, though it's much lesser-known. African-American writers and "Harlem Renaissance" artists including James Baldwin, Richard Wright, and Beauford Delaney were regular patrons.
