This Art-Deco brasserie in Montparnasse hosted wild parties in the downstairs ballroom during the Roaring Twenties; its upstairs tables were often occupied by Josephine Baker, Edith Piaf, and Albert Camus. Painted columns adorn the spacious dining room, and the red-and-gold facade is iconic. (La Coupole, 102 Boulevard du Montparnasse, 75014).
