We are proud to announce that our latest charity initiative is in support of the National Puerto Rican Day Parade (NPRDP) Scholarship Program. Each year, the National Puerto Rican Day Parade awards about $200,000 in scholarships to students of Puerto Rican descent who are either graduating HS seniors about to attend, or students already enrolled in colleges and universities around the country.
The scholarship program awards students who not only excel academically, but also have a commitment to the community through service, and who are also learning or eager to learn more about their history and culture.
John Donohue, the artist, has drawn four eateries with Puerto Rican roots—Barrio BX, Chocobar Cortés, 787 Coffee, and La Fonda—and is creating one-of-a-kind prints signed by both him and the restaurant owners.
Each premium print is now for sale on our website this for $250, with all of the proceeds benefiting the scholarship fund.
