Opened in 1881, Le Wepler is one of the great vestiges of Belle-Epoque Paris, dominating a corner of the hectic Place de Clichy with its bright-red facade and gold lettering. The menus are extensive and traditional; try a giant fresh shellfish platter washed down with a glass of Chablis, or roasted chicken with potatoes. (Le Wepler, 14 Place de Clichy, 75018).
